Delegating writing or thinking to AI is a little bit like getting someone else to tidy up your things. The result will probably look good, but unless you’ve been very specific in your instructions, you’ll find they’ve put things in places where they don’t normally live, you’ll need to spend at least some portion of time understanding what they’ve done and potentially undoing some of it.

There are multiple valid ways of tidying a room, there are often multiple valid ways of expressing an idea or solving a problem.

Every now and again they might put something in a very sensible place that you’d never thought of before and you unlock a whole new perspective.
